PIFS Accreditation
In June 2007, the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS) granted consultative status to PIANGO. Consultative status allows PIANGO access to selected PIFS meetings, and means that PIANGO can work towards securing accreditation to PIFS meetings.
During the meetings, only one civil society representative can be present throughout the meeting, and once accreditation status is granted, civil societies may be requested to make presentations.
